How to upload your property to Dot Property Philippines

Are you selling a property? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Dot Property Philippines is the country’s leading real estate marketplace with more people stopping here to find their next home, office, investment property and so much more.

You need two things before you begin: basic information about the property and at least five photos. You won’t be able to publish your listing until you have submitted all of the required photos and information.

Of course, we know you’re busy. That’s why our platform allows you to easily upload properties in only six steps. Let’s get started!

Step 1 – Log in/Sign up

In order to get started, you’ll need to either log in with your account or sign up for one. A Dot Property account allows you to post up to ten online listings at no cost. You can log in/sign up with either your Google of Facebook accounts or with a traditional e-mail and password.

Please note, if you have never used our platform, you’ll need to verify your phone number before publishing your property online. Go to the “Edit Profile” section to do this.

Pro tip: If you’re a real estate agent or developer with listings already on your website, contact us for information on how we can automate this process.

Step 2 – Go to the upload property screen

This is pretty self-explanatory. If you’re a first time user this button will be on the first page. If you’ve already used Dot Property, you need to click on “Upload a property” in the menu. There will be a green button at the top of the page where you’ll find a green button with “Upload a property” at the top of the page.

Step 3 – Select your photos

How to upload your property
Once photos have been uploaded, you can adjust the order by clicking one and moving it

Start your listing by uploading up to 15 photos. You need a minimum of five in order to publish and the photos should be 600px wide by 400px high. Simply drag them from your computer into the drop zone. Once there, you can rearrange the photo order to your liking. The first photo will be used on the search results page so be sure to choose the best picture.

Pro tip: Use clear, high-quality photos. Listings with good-looking photos get the best results. Also, refrain from using watermarked photos or any picture you don’t have permission to use.

Step 4 – Enter the property details

Next up, it’s time to enter the details of your property. This includes the type of listing (sale/rent), price, what kind of property, location, facilities and your contact details. Be honest when filling this out so your property is accurately represented.

Step 5 – Create a title and description

How to upload your property?
Your description must be at least 200 characters in length. It may seem long, but it’s actually less than a tweet!

Just below the property details is a section to enter a title and description for your listing. Let’s start with the title. It should be short and attention grabbing. Make sure it can grab the attention of property seekers. For example, “Stunning luxury condo in Makati” or “Remarkable 2bed/1bath close to LRT” gives people an idea about your listing while also adding intrigue.

As for the description, it’s best not to overthink this. A lot of people stress, but it really isn’t that big of a deal. Just include some basic information about the property as well as the location. Don’t forget to save this after you’re done.

Pro tip: Think about the information you would want to know during a property search and use this to start your description.

Step 6 – Preview/Publish

1) Publishes your listing 2) Opens a preview of your listing 3) Deletes your listing

You’re almost there. Once the first five steps are complete, scroll up to the top of the page and click on the eyeball icon. A preview of how your listing will look on Dot Property will appear. Take a look and see if you’re happy. If everything looks good, go back to the previous tab and click the Online/Offline slider.
