These past few days we have been bombarded by endless days and nights of rain. Classes got suspended, streets got flooded, and everyone wondered when the raining will stop. PAGASA reported that we have to wait for a little bit more time before the rain stops.

Bad weather during this time of the year is not new to us. But did you know that there are specific locations in the Philippines that experience less typhoons? Northern Luzon and NCR are always hard targets of typhoons but some parts of Visayas and Mindanao relatively receive small amount of rain. It’s because typhoons that drop by in the Philippines have more tendencies to go up North instead of going down South. Because of this, locations in this area are not always affected by the endless rain.
