Is it good to live in Quezon City?

Quezon City condo for sale
Quezon City Circle is one of the many reasons it is good to live in QC

Most people know about the great educational opportunities available in Quezon City. It’s home to countless universities, as well as plenty of shopping options. This is great for students, but many wonder about living here? At the moment, a little less three million people call QC home, making it the most populous city in Metro Manila. There must be a reason for this.

We know they don’t live here for the easy commute. The traffic on EDSA is constantly bad. In fact, arguably the only drawback to living in QC is if you need to commute to other areas of the city for work. However, with construction continuing on MRT Line 7, using public transportation will be a viable option once it starts running in 2019.

All things considered, Quezon City is a great place to live. Here’s why:

Never get bored shopping in Quezon City

The sheer amount of malls and shopping centers in Quezon City is amazing. There is TriNoMa which host countless fairs and festivals throughout the year in addition to classic retail area. Of course, SM North Edsa is impressive. Be sure to check out the Food Circuit and Food Market here every weekend. If you’re looking for something a little different, sign up for a membership to Landers and explore the aisles of goodness you won’t find anywhere else in Metro Manila.

Great condos, affordable prices

If you want to buy a home but don’t want to pay the rising prices found in Makati, QC is an ideal alternative. Home prices here are affordable while still offering all of the great amenities found elsewhere in the city.

For example, a one-bedroom condo unit in Aurora Escalades, a project from respected developer Robinsons Communities’, starts at PHP 2.5 million. If you would prefer to live closer to the LRT, a one-bedroom condo in Infina Towers from DMCI Homes is just PHP 3 million. Both projects come from award winning homebuilders so you know you’re buying a unit in a leading condo.

Space and place

Unlike other parts of Metro Manila, The City of Stars has tons of space. A total 161 kilometers of area to be exact, a lot of which remains undeveloped. This has allowed those building projects to spread everything out. Nowhere is this space usage more evident than at Quezon City Circle. The fun park has its own amusement rides, restaurants, jogging trails and gardens that make it an ideal place to hangout. You’ll also find a number of other parks and green spaces around QC.
