Instead, the firm wanted to craft a fully-connected business and lifestyle district south of Metro Manila. When developing the masterplan for Arca South, Ayala Land combined the best practices from its mixed-use developments in Makati and Bonifacio Global City among other places. Additionally, the focus will be on low-, and mid-rise buildings as oppose to high-rises in order to create a place with a unique vibe.
“We’re bringing the elements that are working well in Makati, Nuvali and BGC. Arca South is mixed-use and sustainable, which is true for all our estates, but what’s unique about it is that it’s a low-density urban development that has the potential to be the next CBD. Unlike other business districts where there are skyscrapers, the buildings in Arca South are between 12- and 15-stories high,” Arca South Project Development Head Stephen Comia told the Philippine Star.
2) Connected location
Arca South is situated in an enviable spot that is accessible via public transport to and from key areas across Metro Manila. It is also set to be connected to other central areas via the Southeast Metro Manila Expressway while the Taguig Integrated Terminal Exchange will allow for easy transit to Laguna, Batangas and elsewhere in Southern Luzon.

We mentioned the low- and mid-rise focus of Arca South, but equal emphasis has been placed on the creation of low-density spaces that allow for more wide-open areas. All aspects of the mixed-use development have been designed to incorporate greenery as well as spaces that don’t feel cramped.
