The beginning of Ber months not only signals the start of the Christmas season. It’s also a great season to start selling homes. If you’re a good real estate agent you must know that the holiday season is one of the most sought-after months to start selling properties.

But during the ber months, the competition is a bit dwindling down. With a huge amount of people looking for properties and little competition with the price, an agent will surely make a good sale.

Because of the high demand for properties, the value of the property that’s being sold has the chance to receive an increase. This is a good thing for future homebuyers as they can buy a new property that has a good value on the market.

Because the festive season is near, people are happier and in the mood to splurge. Buyers are easier to negotiate with if they are cheerier and in good spirit. Unlike in earlier months when there are tons of pressure that people may feel.

People enjoy many bonuses during the Christmas season.  This means that more people have the buying power to buy properties. More and more people invest on certain material things right after they receive their bonus. It’s easier to make a sale during this situation. Homebuyers are also quite emotional during the Christmas season. Playing with their heartstrings can bring a holiday joy to any real estate agent.

But selling a property during the ber months also has disadvantages. One of which is that most people go on holiday vacations during this time of the year.  One way to solve this is to keep a good list of resources that you can call on just in case.
