CONNECT Cebu 2026: Strengthening the Future of Real Estate in the Visayas

Cebu City, February 19, 2026 — Cebu’s real estate community gathered for an afternoon of market discussions and industry collaboration at CONNECT Cebu 2026. Organized by Lamudi Philippines and Dot Property Group, the half-day event brought together over 200 brokers, developers, and real estate professionals to exchange insights and explore opportunities in the Visayas market.
Held at the Fili Ballroom of NUSTAR Resort & Casino in Cebu City, the event served as a venue for data sharing, industry updates, and professional networking. CONNECT Cebu 2026 focused on practical discussions aimed at helping participants navigate current market conditions and identify areas for growth.

Speakers shared their perspectives on market trends, buyer behavior, and investment opportunities in Cebu. Ms. Kimberly Contere and Vincent Cana from RLC Residences, Ms. Jessa Mae D. Sisi from Alsons Development and Investment Corporation, and Ms. Aggravayne Antonette I. Bangay from Vista Land offered insights from the development side, while Ms. Yvonne Sabordo of Philswiss United Holdings Corp. discussed leadership and strategies to navigate a changing market.

Market data also took center stage. Mr. Joey Bondoc, Director and Head of Research at Colliers Philippines, highlighted Cebu’s strong performance. He explained that the city’s expanding infrastructure, young workforce, and BPO competitiveness continue to strengthen its position as a key regional hub. These factors are driving sustained demand for both residential and office developments, particularly in well-located growth corridors. Lot-only properties, for example, have seen around 22,000 take-ups with a 94% absorption rate, showing that land ownership and flexible development remain in demand.

The event also highlighted digital tools designed to support real estate professionals. Ms. Alanna Espinosa, Head of Business Development for Lamudi Pro, introduced Lamudi Pro and Lamudi Pro Premium. This platform helps agents manage listings, connect with serious buyers, and improve transactions. Features include an Exclusive Buyer Channel, which matches listings with the platform’s most active buyers via WhatsApp; Enriched Leads, which allow agents to identify and prioritize prospects ready to transact immediately; and an AI Listing Assistant, which auto-selects the best main photo, flags suboptimal images, and provides market price indicators to optimize engagement and clicks.
Participants also had time for networking and building connections that could last well beyond the event meeting with developer partners and fellow professionals. In her closing remarks, Ms. Tanya Yu, Country Manager of Dot Property Group, emphasized the role of collaboration, technology, and ongoing industry support in helping brokers and developers succeed.

Looking ahead, Lamudi and Dot Property Philippines shared previews of upcoming initiatives, including future industry awards and recognition programs designed to celebrate professional excellence.

The CONNECT series will continue its momentum, with the next leg scheduled to take place in Manila this June, continuing to support collaboration and sharing of knowledge nationwide.
