How To Get A Real Estate Agent License

One of the most basic needs of a Filipino is the right to find his or her own home. It’s a privilege that Filipinos fight for every day. That’s the reason why when it comes to buying property, home buyers in this country only trust someone who really knows what he is doing and can be trusted upon.

And the government is listening. The Real Estate Service Act of the Philippines or RESA Law ensures that all real estate brokers are qualified to sell property and guide home buyers into the process. Here are the rigorous steps that wannabe brokers go through in order to get that license.

Examination

The first step into becoming a real estate agent is to pass the Real Estate Broker Licensure Examination. The Professional Regulations Commission or PRC is the one who handles the examination. Before entering the exam, you must first complete a four year degree and have earned 120 units of Continuing Professional Education.
